Grants for Single Moms Can Generate Over $10,000

October 31st, 2009 by admin

Grants for single moms used to be a relatively small amount of money. The Pell grant is a useful supplementation of money that many lifelong students used to pay their bills each and every year. Once limitations were placed on this federal funding, more of it became available for those who actually were looking to complete their college education.

Now that Pres. Obama has increased the amount of programs to over $5000 per semester, it is possible for most moms with children to apply for and receive this federal stimulus package money that is based on hardship and need. A good idea would be to apply for this grant money as soon as possible before the federal government decides that it’s giving too much away.
