Everyone knows the answer is baking, which was the inspiration for Pastry Shoes, the Simmons girls’ line of sneakers. You’ve probably eaten confetti cake before. You know, the white cake with the rainbow sprinkles in the batter that melt into little bursts of color? Young Vanessa liked to bake it all the time, and that’s where she got the idea for the very colorful collection of pastry-themed footwear.
