The Benefits of a Food Diary

There is a good and bad side to every way that a person tries to lose weight. Even a person that eats well and goes to the gym has to schedule an enormous amount of time out of their schedule to accommodate this. I think the benefits of a food diary far outweigh the downside. A person can eat pretty much whatever they want as long as they are burning more calories during the day then they are ingesting. The trick to this is understanding how many calories your body burns per day and how many calories are in all the foods you eat.
