The biggest expense of any home remodeling or design project is always labor. If you can do the work yourself you can save thousands of dollars. Most large home store employees make themselves available to answer any questions a homeowner has about do-it-yourself home projects. Our latest project was a new tile floor in our kitchen. Although the home store employee answered our questions we didn’t feel we knew enough to start the project. That was when we decided to talk with a flooring expert to learn how to lay floor tiles. When we had all the information before we started the project it went so smoothly that even we were amazed. With the help of an expert we were able to lay a beautiful new tile floor in our home ourselves.
