It’s an ironic fact of life that despite the many modern labor-savings devices in people’s homes these days, people seem to have less time than ever to get out and “smell the roses.”  There’s too many TV shows they have to watch, too many people they have to talk to on the phone, too much other stuff to do. However, this is easily solved. Sports benefits exercise. Find yourself a sport that you enjoy playing. Even bowling can be considered a sport – it requires strength, coordination and timing. Playing pickup games of basketball or baseball with your friends is a lot of fun. There are plenty of tennis courts around, and people needing partners. If you prefer to exercise on your own terms, biking or jogging is just the ticket.
