Please Spell Check That Page!

July 11th, 2011 by admin

We have all had pounded into our brains since elementary school, the importance of spell checking our work before turning it in. Clearly, this is even more important as the owner of a website, as our content is not just visible to the teachers and students at school, but theoretically, the entire world. Spelling errors on a website are common mistakes that often go unnoticed, but they can have a big impact on your reputation and search rankings. Obviously, a site lush in spelling mistakes, destroys the credibility of your site and leaves your readers to question your authority and validity, but it also creates issues with SEO, search engine optimization. Search engines, such as Google, use certain keywords to help match up sites with what potential visitors are searching for, so if you haven’t spell checked your website, your page won’t show up in the search results Google and the like displays. And then how will readers find your site? Fortunately, there are plenty of free website spell checker tools available to your disposal that make it incredibly simple to spell check a website. Blogging plugins, applications, and various online website spell checkers, make it absurd not to check the spelling on your site and help increase your page rankings and credibility, which in turn creates a more successful website, which if monetized, yields better business profits and if not, just helps your website remain popular and trustworthy alongside a sea of other websites. Of course, you can’t always avoid a spelling error, and every once in a while won’t cause any damage, but if you make it a common habit, your readership, reputation, and rankings will go down. So be sure to spell check your website!

Email Spelling Issues

April 16th, 2010 by admin

Oh man! I did something really embarrassing. I hope I did not cause the company a huge business deal. I made a horrible spelling error on an email to one of our prospective clients who is supposed to be bringing in millions of cash to the company. I seriously need help with Dyslexia. Well, I do not actually have dyslexia, but I do commit a lot of spelling errors on documents, emails and presentations. This has got to stop. My credibility is on the line here. I am starting to look like I have a real learning disability, no offense to the dyslexia community.

Collection Of 6×9 Mailers

December 8th, 2008 by admin

I have many 6×9 bubble mailers in my envelope collection. They are useful for when I have to send something that needs the cushion while in transit. My collection is full of many different kinds of bubble mailers, however the six by nine versions are the most common. I have used them to send electronic components, trading cards, CD’s, and DVD’s to my friends and family. I have found it useful to keep such a large collection of envelopes.

Brochure Design Inspiration Comes From Anywhere

August 21st, 2008 by admin

When you're trying to design something, you need to stop with the busy mind, and calm yourself. The reason I say this is because a busy mind means complex thoughts, and it doesn't allow creativity to flow. And if you're looking for brochure design inspiration, really you can take inspiration from anything in anywhere. It can be from your television, it could be from a commercial on TV, anything and everything.
