Renting a Car Again

January 2nd, 2010 by admin

My wife called me when I was at the office the other day, and she told me that she wanted to hire a car for the trip that we were going to be taking.  I asked her if she had any place in mind, and she told me that she was always partial to Avis.  I told her that I would get on the computer and search for “car hire Port Elizabeth South Africa” to see if they have a place near us.  I was happy to find that there was an Avis not far from our home, so we wouldn’t have to leave our car there.

Wondering if I Should Get Travel Insurance Cover

December 11th, 2009 by admin

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day. She was telling me that she had been really sick last month. I was saying how glad I was that she was feeling better. She said that it was not even the illness that was so bad, as it was the fact that she was not able to take the vacation she had planned. It got me wondering if I should get travel insurance cover. I have a trip coming up in a few months and now I am worried that I might get unexpectedly sick so maybe I should get coverage.

My Mom’s Trip

December 10th, 2009 by admin

My mom is coming out to Miami for business and she is going to visit us while she is here.  Since she lives all the way across the country we do not get to see each other as often as we would like so this trip is a wonderful thing for us.  She will be staying in one of her companies Miami corporate rentals, but she will be close enough to come have dinner with us every night so she does not have to eat out at restaurants the whole time she is in town.  I really  cannot wait until she gets here.

Be Back in Time with Charter Flights

December 2nd, 2009 by admin

My friends and I were going to ski for a weekend. We had to be back for an important engagement so we decided to look for a more flexible way to travel than a major airline. My boss had just returned from a vacation with his family. They used Charter Flights and were really happy with the arrangements. He said that we could go whenever we wanted and return when we needed to. We liked the idea that we could travel on our own terms, so we decided to contact the company. They were really helpful and easy to work with. I can’t wait to try them out.

Our Costa Rican Vacation

November 9th, 2009 by admin

Every year since the children left home my wife and I plan an exotic vacation get away. We’ve been to Europe, Mexico, Spain and Jamaica. We love to travel to tropical climates just because the people are great and the food is awesome.  This year we decided we would take a trip to Costa Rica. We had heard many great things about and we wanted to explore it ourselves. My wife booked our stay at a San Jose Costa Rica hotel. I was very impressed with the way they treated us and I would encourage anyone to visit. I met some really nice people.

Ask Questions About Potential Hotels and Accommodation Locations

November 7th, 2009 by admin

There are several factors that you should take into consideration when you are looking into finding hotels and accommodation for your next trip or outing.  You should make a list of the features you are hoping to have included in the lodging that you choose such as Internet access or a continental breakfast.  If you are traveling with any pets, you will also want to make sure that whatever location you choose is a pet friendly establishment.  Doing so will ensure that you do not encounter any unexpected issues upon your arrival and should make for a smooth stay wherever you end up.

The Best Accommodations For Fishermen

October 31st, 2009 by admin

I consider myself an expert fisherman at heart.  Sure, my career is in finance, but my passion is in fishing.  That is why Mundy’s Bed and Breakfast in Cavan, Ireland is the best place on earth for me.  Not only do they offer the finest in accommodations, but they are located near the Cavan waterways that are known for their world class fishing opportunities.  While on holiday there, I have pulled the biggest trout of my fishing career from the Erne river.   There is nothing more thrilling for a sportsman like myself.  Best of all, at the end of a satisfying day, I have a comfortable room and cozy bed in which to lay my weary bones.
