Number plate security needs improving

November 20th, 2008 by admin

The weak link in vehicle identification has always been the vehicles number plates. Unlike other european countries the making and delivery of number plates in the uk has been a non-government industry. This has enabled the supply of false number plates to criminals and also non conforming plates to car enthusiasts. In spain the plates are made by government authorities so you could not do this. However in both countries there is always the possiblity of having plates stolen and used on another car. This is due to the simple fixing system used i.e. self tapping screws, this needs to be changed.

Is Electric Car Conversion a Good Idea?

October 29th, 2008 by admin

Most people think that electric car conversion is a good idea but they usually don’t know much about how to do the conversion. People think that electric cars are good for the earth and save money on gas.

However, people also know that electric cars cost a lot of money so it is hard for most people to afford them which is why some people prefer to convert a gas car to an electric car themselves. If people can afford them, then more people will make the changes to their cars.

If more thing that are good for the environment were cheaper then perhaps global warming would be less of a problem.

Is Half Water Half Gas A Scam?

October 26th, 2008 by admin

Although I thought I had seen enough of these hydrogen car kit guides on the internet, there is now yet another one, this one being called Half Water Half Gas. Probably the main factor for people investing in these guides, is the fact that you can save large amounts of money at the gas station. Of course there are other benefits aswell. Just the effect on fuel costs by itself is a massive reason for people to seriously consider beginning to use this technology, not to mention the environmental aspect. What is it about Half Water Half Gas that makes it the right guide to choose, especially when there is about 15 different other guides on the market? Although most of the hydrogen car kit conversion guides are based upon the same concept of how to build and install the kit, Half Water Half Gas is presented in a much clearer fashion than most. The fact that the guide includes a video presentation of how to install the kit makes it a big winner over the others.

Why you need a pet mover for dogs

October 20th, 2008 by admin

Dogs will almost always be best moved across state, or between states, even, by a good pet mover.  I say this because of the strange facts avout pet dogs. Well, actually any dog is potentially a pet, so this is applicable to all dogs. Take size, for instance. Dogs are the only animals that have a large range of size differences between different breeds. There are tiny chihuahuas and massive greatr danes. Both are dogs. Both descendend from the same wolf ancestor. And yet, for some reason they have developed such different sizes. A horse or cat or sheep is not like this. Those pets are all roughly the same size. So moving a dog needs special car, and when you change your location, and need to move your dog, think about using a specialized pet mover to make your dog’s journey more comfortable and less stress free.

Carnu-B Car Wax: Turn Your Car Into A Street Stopper.

October 19th, 2008 by admin

When I was a young teenager, my older brother, my dad and I used to work feverishly on our cars.

Looking back, I now understand a few things about why. But that’s another story.

My father was an aircraft mechanic during his time in the Air Force so he knows a few things about motors and how they work.

What we all needed to learn, however, was body work and repair. My older brother’s car was the first guinea pig.

We stripped that thing down to bare metal, sanded, primed, and then painted it royal blue.

Next, we bought the car wax pros use on the most expensive cars and polished it to a mirror-like finish.

A street-stopper.

My Daughter says Motor Scooter, I say Toyota Corolla

October 16th, 2008 by admin

I’ve been thinking of buying a motors scooter since my colleague mentioned them, and I’ve performed my due diligence, including investigating several regional suzuki scooters dealerships.

Price for these little two-wheeled monsters seems to differ drastically according to the size and model, which is to be expected taking into consideration the broad range of models one can buy. The fluctuation between large and small scooters is bigger than the difference between a Range Rover and a Fit.

Just like purchasing an automobile, prices of motor scooters seem to fall off rapidly after leaving the lot. What makes this dramatic is that most scooters don’t receive the same amount of use as a car, especially the less powerful moped models.

The big benefit of that is that it is relatively simple to locate Suzuki scooters on the internet through a specialized web site. Considering this, I have to ask if scooters from the local showroom are competitively priced or if that’s responsible for why these web auctions are becoming increasingly popular.

Suzuki is a strange make

October 15th, 2008 by admin

Suzuki is a strange make, they make bikes that everyone knows about and are all in all pretty popular but when it comes to cars Suzuki seem to be very much hit and miss with the occasional success dotted in with a whole heap of failures. In my opinion this is not down to the cars they make as I think Suzuki car are both cheap and reliable. I think its got more to do with brands. I studied branding at uni and one of the brands was Suzuki. When I asked people to associate an attribute to Suzuki a lot of them came out with small.

Jeep Brand

October 14th, 2008 by admin

The brand Jeep is a very strong brand indeed in fact on the weekend I spotted a bag sporting the Jeep logo on it. What I wonder though when it comes to the Jeep is will Jeep still be a strong brand in twenty five years time? I personally don’t think it will be unless something changes. The significant markets of the world are starting to move away from big gas guzzling cars for two reasons the first is of course people are becoming more conscious of trying to be environmentally friendly and the second is fuel costs a lot more.
