My wife did something recently that I know she did not intend to do, but nevertheless we incurred a lot of debt. She decided to put a lot of charges on the credit card to earn some type of rewards and when I saw that we had a lot of money in the checking account I thought I could use it elsewhere. Now it turns out that we have a lot of credit card debt and no way to pay it off. She was planning on paying off the balance and now we barely have enough to cover the minimum charge.
