Any solicitor who is engaged in accident claims or personal injury litigation, would be wise to get a good grip on at least some of the basic medical terminology. Although a lot of this will come with experience anyway, it is still advisable that the personal injury solicitor spends some time dedicated to learning how the medical people practice, organise, etc. as the personal injury solicitor will be using the medical records as a basis for his client’s case, he naturally needs to have an understanding of what the medical records are saying. It shouldn’t be too difficult for him to become familiar with the content and format of medical records and medical systems.
