Doing things at the same time requires good co-ordination. So it follows that a good dancer will have good co-ordination. However singing and dancing together is another skill on itself.

Often vocalists will do very commercial, jazzy, or streety style dance moves. It can take a singer a bit of time before they’re used to doing both the street dancing and singing at the same time.

Try it some time – it’s actually a skill I think not that many people have. Especially when the dancing is a set routine and not just dancing in any way you want.
