If You Don’t Use It You Lose It

February 8th, 2010 by admin

When I was in High School, I was very involved in music, and I was pretty good at it as well.  I played trumpet, acoustic guitars, and even a little on the piano- but mostly for music theory purposes.  Anyway, nowadays, I don’t remember quite as much about music as I’d like to, particuarly the theory of it.  I didn’t realize how much simply playing an instrument allows for understanding and remembering how the theory works.  Mostly, I have a hard time remember the scales and how many sharps and flats are in each key.  Hopefully I can learn it again and be composing again in no time.
