As I am not a huge fan of mainstream music I don’t listen a lot to radio stations or buy the albums of what is considered to be popular music.  Sometimes it can be difficult to find alternative music that is a better match to my taste than what is available through itunes. I don’t like to pay for the music first before being able to decide if it is something I really want to own.  This is why I use the free ares download site.  It gives me the option to explore alternative music without having to pay for it first.  I can download whatever songs look interesting to me at no cost and then only keep the ones I like.
