Ok, so maybe I'll never be a superhero who wears tight spandex and has a perfectly sculpted body and can stop a speeding train with my pinky, but i was a hero for one day. I had recently injured my hand and was wearing a neoprene thumb spica splint to help my hand to heal. Well, someone thought it'd be funny to steal something from the store. As he was trying to get away I looked for something to stop him, and all I had was my splint! So I ripped it off and flung it at the ground in front of him, a million to one shot, and it scored! Down he went! Yes, I was hero for a day.
